Who You Are Sexually Attracted To is Very Telling
Have you ever noticed that the people you are the most sexually attracted to and the people you would have the best life partnership with are often not the same person?
For example, I had an intense attraction to religious women. Would they make the best life partner? Probably not. I’m not as conservative as they are and they would probably be scared that their deity wouldn’t approve of marrying someone who doesn’t share the faith. But the sex would be life-changing.
Here’s another attraction I’ve had and that a number of my male friends have had. At one point in our lives or another, we’ve had a compulsion for bitchy and damn-near unscrupulous women. Would they make the best life partner or wife? Absolutely not. As I and my friends can attest to, it is hell on earth. And oddly enough, the sex isn’t that great either. But in our minds it was wild.
How could I (or anyone) possibly see these two personalities that are polar opposites of each other and have a strong sexual attraction to them both? The answer lies in the mind.
The people one is attracted to — to the extent of it being a compulsion — have a trait that one has suppressed or rejected within oneself. Sexual attraction of that magnitude is therefore being used a way of reuniting with that aspect within oneself that was…
