We were together twice. In high school for over a year and then in our early 20s for 9 months.

She wanted the breakup but meeting with her was never a problem because there wasn't any animosity. We'd message each other online but hadn't met up.

We kind of just updated each other on what was new. As for the aftermath, I just accepted how I felt and that I had reacted poorly years ago.

Relegating her to someone I used to know would probably be good to totally clear her from my mind but we're friends and have a lot of mutual friends.

Hopefully I cleared up everything you asked.
